Customer Responsibilities

Maintaining compliance is a partnership. Here is what you need to do.

While Arx provides the technical safeguards, legal compliance often depends on how you implement and communicate the usage of the tool to your organization.

Employee Transparency

We strongly recommend (and in some jurisdictions, it is required) that you inform your employees that a security extension is installed on their browser to block malicious sites.

Acceptable Use Policy

Ensure your Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) includes provisions for the monitoring of internet traffic for security purposes.

Shared Responsibility Model

Arx Responsibility

Securing the cloud infrastructure, encrypting data, maintaining the codebase, ensuring the extension does not over-collect data.

Customer Responsibility

Managing access control (who is an Admin?), setting appropriate privacy policies (e.g., Silent Mode vs Active Blocking), and handling Data Subject Requests (DSRs) from their employees.
